Hey Beauties!
It’s
has been a great adventurous weekend. I didn’t do anything special, but I did
make a trip to Target down the street from where I work. I have been seeing all
of these new drugstore products on YouTube, and been looking for them on my
side of town with very minimal luck. The stores either didn’t have them yet or
had a few. I knew that in the area where I work would have all of them, so
Target I went. And sure enough, there they were ready to be bought and played
with. Let me tell you, I have NEVER bought this much drugstore makeup in one
trip, I was in disbelief how much I had spent when I saw the total. But let me
tell you, it was like being a kid in a candy store, you see all the pretty
makeup, and you just want all.
The
great thing about all the products I am going to show you, is that it is ALL
drugstore, its affordable, and best of all, according to my research, all of
this permanent, which means for all of us addicts, it is nothing something you
have to go out and rush to buy. So you have plenty of time to do your research,
read reviews, and then decide which products are worth trying and right for
you.
One
last thing before I get to the haul, I am testing out a vast majority of these
products this week. I will have my camera charged and ready to snap photos of
looks that I create, so if your nothing following on instagram and twitter, I
will be posting pictures there as well as in the next 2 weeks with those
reviews. So a lot to expect.
So…..
NOW on the HAUL!!!!
So, the easiest way to go about this
is to break them down into brands, and lets start with……
MAYBELLINE
Maybelline
has started to become one of my favorite drugstore makeup brands. I plan to
branch out and buy more of their products such as eyeshadows. Anyway. I bought
a few for their lipsticks and 2 eye products…..
Maybelline Vivids Lipstick: these
are highly hyped, neon lipsticks. I mean, N-E-O-N. I found these at Walmart
near where I lived and these where pretty much what where left.
Maybelline Color Whisper: Balm/
Lipstick type products
L- R: Lust for Blush; Berry Ready;
A Plum Prospect ($5.99 ea)
Maybelline 24 Hr Color Tattoos: I
only have 2 of the 5 new shades
Barely Branded and Inked in Pink ($5.99
ea)
L’OREAL
L-R: Eternally Nude; Lilac Ever
After; Berry Persisent ($7.99 ea)
Nearly Naked Liquid Foundation: I
am usually not someone that tries new foundations and concealers on a regularly
basis. I usually stick to one or two. But I really wanted to try this, but I had
to pick it up in the 2 darkest shades they offered, in Caramel and Cappuccino. ($7.49 ea)
Lastly….COVERGIRL
I was really excited about all of
these because, I haven’t heard most of these
mentioned at all on other beauty blogs, YouTube, magazine ads, commercials,
nothing. The first 3 products I have seen are….
Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail polish
in Lav-endure (lavender) and Mint Mojito. ($4.99 ea)
Clump Crusher in Very Black
(($6.99)
Queen Collection: This is what I
was excited about that I never heard anything mention in the media. As I have
stated above, I don’t usually buy different foundations, ad stick to one or
two. Covergirl has come out with new foundations and pressed powder, gloss
balm, along with other stuff.
All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Liquid
Foundation in Warm Caramel ($9.79) and lasting matte pressed powder in Golden
($4.99)
Jumbo Gloss Balm: R-L: Almond
Butter; Radiant Rose; Juicy Jam and Soaked in Wine ($6.99 ea)
Ok beauties, that’s it for this
haul. Keep checking back for reviews on these products. And make sure to follow
me on twitter and Instagram for updates and photos, just go to the social connections on the top right of the page!
Until next time, see ya later!!!
