Summer is fast approaching and we are all breaking out the pretty highlighters, bronzers, illuminzers, primers, and the list goes on. Of course, the majority of us use these products on a day to day basics no matter what the season, and weather is like. But you think of these items more for the summer than any other time of the year. We are all trying to achieve the glowy, bronzy look. And of course, we are all concerned about the hot weather and makeup not mixing well together. There is nothing attractive about your makeup sliding off your face. 

I want to share with you all the products I have been reaching for as of late.

It’s H-O-T outside. Yesterday was 92 degrees and Summer is not even officially here yet. Nobody wants to apply a bunch of products to their face, and then you step outside and it wants to melt off. Ain’t nobody got time for that. With that said, I have been trying to wear as little makeup as possible. That’s where the lighter foundation comes in. Luckily, these are the types of foundation that I gravitate  toward so I had a few options. I still wanted the coverage but I wanted it to my light feeling. So what have I been doing for the last few days......

Happy Friday!!!

So, judging by the title, we’re talking face primers. And what better time, than when the weather is quickly changing. We’re all excited about the summer, full of lazy days in the sun (wear SPF), drinking lemonade, going on vacations.... the whole bit. With summer comes some extremely hot days, and you know what that mean right? We’re all looking for ways to keep our foundation from melting off our face. I guess that’s we’re face primers come in (and setting sprays, but another post). 

Spring/Summer Nail Polish Picks!!!

I have been into nail polish for the last couple of months, and along with my makeup collection, I have now built a small yet rather large size collection of nail polishes. I love painting my nails and has become a weekly small, manicure, a way to relax at the end of a hectic day. 

I don’t get too excited about new nail polish collection release as I do with makeup, but I like to see what new colors come out that catch my eye. As you about to see I have some pretty bright picks that I am excited to wear all summer!

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Foundation Review

Hey Beauties!

I don’t know what it is, but I have been in to trying foundations lately. Normally I don’t care to simply because as a dark skin woman, finding a perfect, for nearly a perfect match is quite difficult, especially within the drugstore ( I have had luck this year though). An like many of us, we try to find a more affordable product. but since I have found two drugstore foundation that I like, and since Tarte recently had 20% off their website, I just couldn’t resist trying two foundations.
